If you have less than three years

Driver requirements at NOMAD are the same for every class: 23 years old, three years of licence. We do not hand over a car below that — it is the insurer’s condition, not our whim.

What to do instead: take a car with a driver — then the requirements do not apply to you. Or have the rental issued to someone who qualifies; that person must be the one driving and named in the contract.

Why it is strict: the insurance only works if the rental terms are met. If an undeclared person is driving, the event is no longer insured — and the full damage falls on the renter.
